Mark O'Brien, Director
Bachelor of Management Studies, CA
Growing up on a dairy farm, Mark has always had a good head for numbers, which led him into his career as an accountant. After graduating from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor of Management Studies, he worked for a range of large and boutique accounting firms in Hamilton and Auckland.
Heading over to the UK for his Kiwi OE, Mark gained valuable experience as a company accountant in various commercial accounting roles.
Joining the firm in 2010, Mark now partners with Angela as a Director of Accounting Extra. Enjoying the technical side of things, he likes helping clients make sense of accounting software, while providing valuable business advice and guidance. Outside of work, Mark enjoys sailing, cycling and rolling up his sleeves for DIY projects around the house.

As a Director alongside Mark, Angela specialises in process improvement, financial and management accounting, and client relations.
As a people-person, she loves getting together with clients and hearing about their goals. She’s passionate about helping clients interpret the numbers in a way they’ll understand.
When she’s not in the office, you can catch her eagerly cheering on her children at their sporting games, or relaxing at the beach with a good book.
Katrina Galloway, Accountant
Bachelor of Business, CA
Katrina's accounting journey began in high school when she decided to turn her love for numbers and business into a career. While juggling part-time roles in CA firms, she obtained her Bachelor of Business degree. Katrina then obtained her Chartered Accounting certification while working at Deloitte.
With a desire to travel, she spent five years overseas tackling tax, accounting, and systems implementation projects. After returning to New Zealand, Katrina managed her family businesses and took on corporate roles, then returned to CA firms employment in 2023.
Katrina thrives on solving challenges and helping clients see their business numbers as more than digits. She enjoys unlocking client insights that drive smarter decisions.
When she’s not in accountant mode, Katrina is looking after animals, mountain biking, wakeboarding, gardening and playing hockey. She is also busy being a taxi and cheerleader for her children’s sports.
